Hello there! Nice product. I am considering using it for a soon-to-be high volume dating site, namely MyMatchmaker.Com http://www.mymatchmaker.com
Ok, I like what I se thus far.
However, there are some missing critical features which for some reason, MOST dating software developers ignore.
Before I get to the other features we need here are some
integration questions:
1. When you say it integrated with phpBB does it completely disable the phpBB login/registration system or is it simply hidden? If it is just hidden knowledgeable people can type in the correct URL and simply get in.
2. Does the integration allow for memebers, when they upgrade to automatically have access to certain private forums which are only visible to memebers of that group/level? We would require this before we would even consider buying the software.
Now for the rest of the "stuff"
3. Once a user logs in if they click on the Home button they see the Join button even after they joined. This needs to be fixed.
4. Where it shows how many users are online the Users Online is not clickable. It needs to be clicable and once a user clicks on it it needs to show all the data http://www.matchmaker.com shows
or http://www.phplords.com/mm/ which is a script I had developed but have abandoned because the programmer vanished and ripped us off. But the Who's Online needs to work just like that.
5. Swingers need to have special filters such as, they should be able to set filter as to what type of people can contact them. This is very important. The options for these filters should be:
a. sex
b. single/couple
c. gay/bysexual/straight
d. age
e. marital status
6. banner ad system
We need a TEXT ads system which is self serve, emaning clients can purchase ads by:
a. Click
b. Impressions
and they can set on what type of pages the ads are to be displayed on such meaning they should have options to shose to advertise to males, females, bisexual, marital status, income level etc. etc. etc.
In other words they need to be able to target their ads based on what people filled out in their profile.
c. Ads types and size need to be set by admin and there needs to be different places on the different types of templates where to plase the ads.
d. Ads need to run at random from a pool and when there are no ads to display in a perticular section it should display either an admin set ad or a random quote/joke or a random featured member pic.
We will not be running ANY graphical ads what so ever.
e. Admin should also be able to insert google ad-sense to run in places/spots where regular ads run and when there are no regualr paid ads the google adsense banner should be displayed.
On another pet peeve.
Can the "credit system" be turned off completely so members do not see any such options because the way you have it it is a bit confusing OR you need to do a better job explaining that feature. I ahve looked for detailed explanations of all the features but could not find any.
What we want to offer is as follows (and you tell me if this can be done with the current software)
Basic membership: 100% free for a year access to all the features
But admin should be able to set:
a. the number of TOTAL private mail a user can receive before their inbox is full. Once their inbox is full they should see a icon which stands out telling them that their inbox is fulll.
b. Number of total posts and replies they can make in the forums.
c. Number of times they can access the chat per month.
d. Basically admin should be able to restrict the NUMBER of all available features such as contacts, winks, photos etc (how long this membership lasts)etc. etc. You get the point I am sure.
Upgrades.
Gold membership
Increase in all of the above set by admin. (no video uploads for this membershi)
Gold membership
Full access to everything except Swingers forums where only swingers have access. Admin should be able to turn off ads ONLY for this membership type (easy way to do it is to have the system automatically change the template to an identical one but no ads)
Admin should be able to set the amount of everything.
More photos, one video etc.
Admin should be able tos et size of video for each emmebrship in megabytes.
User Diary
Platinum Membership
Full access to everything including swingers forums.
Diary., Usr Blogg which can be read by any memebrship level the USER allows.
Up to x amount of photos set by admin.
No ads.
There are a few more thinsg but this should do it foe now.
Let me know when you think all of these will be available and I WILL place the order the moment they are available.
If they will not be available I will go with another product which is 4 times the price but has everything I need and a few more features.

| P.S. If we can get all the features we require we would be purchasing about 18 licences over the course of a year as we have other type of dating sites we need it for. |

We have implemented and recommend our clients to implement the following modification to phpBB that disables registration:

You can try to register to this presales forum here and see modification yourself http://aedating.aewebworks.com/forum/profile.php?mode=register
Other than that you ofcourse will need to change registration link from phpBB registration to aeDating registration as made in this forum.

By default no, but we can develop such feature for you personally for just 50$ or you can wait when we develop it for all clients in future upgrades.

This became a major issue and techs already are fixing it. For your version this will be done once you buy aeDating.

Sad story, well we have developed such data for admin purposes and almost done for users purposes. You can also do search for who is online already now and it will show you online profiles. This feature will be available in next upgrade.

We do have focus only on swigners so there is no point of making it available for default version. This is qualified as modification and has fixed price of 150$

This feature is enables already. You can also see statistics of both clicks and impressions.
However as the feature of admin control of time period, number of clicks or impressions over banner campaign was never requested but only by you we can develop it for you for additional 350$.

This sounds like totally new script for banner management. We can develop such one for additional price of 40, 000$ with our copy rights on it. So for you it will be cheaper to have third party banner system integrated into aeDating, which we can integrate generally for anything between 100$ to 400$.

Sure, you can turn it off in admin panel and it will remove all references to credits throughout the site. See pic for more details.
All these will require modification of the code. Our membership system is set up slightly different.
