New Apps Versions Release: Great Features Added to Userplane Community Suite

Userplane Apps are now deployed on over 100 websites in 12 countries. As online communities evolve and clients’ needs increase and shift, Userplane strives to maintain the very innovation and technological standards that the Community Suite was built on.

Userplane Instant Communicator 1.8 continues to provide live text and audio/video instant messaging. The new version, scheduled for released in September 2004, features Userplane smileys for more entertaining and expressive communication. Userplane’s Flash messaging tool will also include Flood Control for admin to limit and manage users flooding the system with excessive repeat text. Instant Communicator 1.8 also has a “Who’s Typing” activity indicator to show when a user is typing on the other end of an IM conversation.

Userplane Web Chat 1.5, scheduled for beta testing in September 2004, releases its initial audio and video feature set. The upgraded version of Userplane’s Flash multi-user Web Chat will be introduced in a preliminary, single-user, single feed a/v mode.

Userplane Web Recorder 1.5 has already been utilized by numerous dating sites and online communities. Currently available, this Flash recording application was recently updated and revamped to improve recording and playback quality for video profiles, video email, and video messages.
