My name is Josh. I contacted AEWebworks recently regarding the development of my online dating/speed dating website. I was given a price quote and told it would take about 6 weeks to develop. To be honest, I am a little hesitant to pay upfront since you are not located in the United States and was wondering if I purchased the basic software first ($670) could I pay for the remaining amount when you are completed with the final customizations and design? Another reason is I've already had problems with another dating site (AKA DotNetDating) who hasn't made my website eventhough I hired them in April. Another question, would it be more affordable for me to hire a web designer/programmer to customize the software and add the speed dating/event management portion? Thanks!

Alas, but we take only upfront payments. We had some problems before as well, when customers would not pay for cutomizations.

You are free to do that.
Another way out is to wait for official release of speed dating module for aeDating. We plan to launch it with next version. It might be different from what you look for in terms of all features you require but in this case you will get it for 690$ only - both aeDating and Speed dating module. And if you order aeDating now you will get speed dating module for free as upgrade.
