I started a comparison between aeDating and SoftwareDating.biz.
Each has his advanatages and drawbacks, not easy to choose even if they are both the best i saw in match making.
aeDating is finally my choice for two reasons :
- chat room/instant messenging based on FlashChat (by the way, do you plan amf flash chat ?)
- forum integration (by the way, is the integration possible with vbulletin ?)
On datingsoftware chat capabilities, the intant messanging is in flash which is good but is also ridiculously not usable and sucks.
the chat room is in java which is a problem and do not have interesting "skills"
Some of the biggest drawacks of aedating are bugs, here are some i identified as bugs :
- if the nickname, during the inscription has a space, it does not work
- During inscription, description containing 150 letters is not save entirely so lost of information we can see if we go later on in profil update
- The forgot password of the forum send a new password to validate but login does not work after the procedure
- During registration, if the nickname exist, we have a database error with no information |

Yes, we will do that for you for free.

this is done by admin - we have to edit your text a lot before approving it

the reason for that is forum works inferior to aeDating, thus if you forgot password, you should use aeDating means to retrieive it. Also part of the problem is that you can access chat and forum ONLY when you are active. During registration your profile status be default is "approval" and in this status you are not considered by forum and chat as existing one

i understand. I will have to find a way for my users in order they do not have this kind of experience, it would not be profesional from me.

yes, my status were active during my test
